Transformers

Our transformers are manufactured in plants certified ISO 9001: 2008 and conform to IEC standards for each type of transformer.

Distribution & Power transformers

Sealed transformers, oil cooled

  • Single phase up to 150kVA both 11 & 33kV class

  • Three-phase up to 40MVA 66kV class

  • Primary voltage 11kV or 33kV, other voltages on request

  • Dyn11 Vector Group - others offered as per request.

  • Terminal arrangement: HV/LV - bare bushings or cable box. Disconnecting chambers can also be provided on both HV/LV cable boxes.

  • On-load tap changer available on request

  • Designed to limit the rise in oil temperature between 40 and 50°C

  • Conforms to IEC 76 & IEC 726

Automatic Voltage Controllers

Electromechanical regulators controlled by continuous carbon wheels help maintain a stable power supply to motors, lamps and electronic equipment sensitive to voltage variations within networks. They deliver a perfect sinusoid and do not affect the performance and lifespan of the equipment being supplied.

  • Up to 7000kVA for low voltage class

  • Manufactured according to IS:9815

  • Improvement in power factor at higher voltage

Dry-type transformers

  • From 50 kVA to 5000kVA 11kV class

  • From 50kVA to 3000kVA OLTC 11kV class

  • Primary voltage 11kV or 33 kV, other voltages on request

  • Can be used inside buildings

  • On-load tap changer available on request

  • Conforms to IEC 60726

Oil Cooled 

  • Natural oil cooling

  • Power up to 5 MVA

  • Instantaneous response time

  • Installation inside or outside

  • Temperature rise of oil only 30o C above ambient temperature

  • Accuracy: ± 1%

  • Unlike electronic regulators there is no distortion of the sine wave output, so the longevity of the equipment is ensured

  • Continuous usage cycle

  • 5 years full warranty

  • The energy savings and increased engine durability or that of light sources can repay the investment in usually less than a year
